VIDEO – Farmhouse Rules Corn Chowder

Hello Evveryone 🙂 As you know I love food, I frequently watch the food network, and was watching the show called: Farmhouse Rules starring Nancy Fuller.  Episode: B-I-N-G-O she is making a corn chowder that’s easy, comforting for the winter season, and the ingredients are easy to find. So I decided to do it myself with my own tweaks and film as I went:


4 slices Bacon – 1/4in pieces

1 tablespoon butter

3 cloves garlic, roughly chopped

2 stalks celery, medium dice

1 onion, medium dice

kosher salt and fresh ground black pepper

1/4 cup all purpose flour

4 cups homemade or low-sodium chicken stock

4 ears corn, kernels removed or 12 ounces frozen corn

1 medium baseball-size red potato, medium dice

1 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme

2 cups whole milk
